The Jackson House

About This Project

Situated on a butte 1,000 feet above the valley floor, the Jackson House commands breathtaking 180-degree views of the Grand Teton Range, Sleeping Indian, and the Snake and Gros Ventre river bottoms. Italian steel windows maintain thermal efficiency while perfectly framing spectacular vistas from every living space.
The kitchen showcases a woodfired pizza oven, French range stovetop, and white glass cabinets that mirror the magnificent surroundings. Contemporary and rustic elements—reclaimed timber, stone, Venetian plaster, glass, and Corten steel—blend seamlessly throughout.
Named Mountain Living magazine’s 2016 Home of the Year, this project represents our successful collaboration with JLF & Associates, WRJ Design, and Verdone Landscape Architects.
This luxury residence features reclaimed materials from the historic Pipestone Hotel, once celebrated as the “Greatest Health Resort in the Rocky Mountain Regions” before closing in the 1960s. When the main lodge became available, the homeowners seized the opportunity to preserve this piece of regional history.
