True North

About This Project

This stunning 8,000-square-foot residence embraces its legendary Wyoming landscape with a classic cruciform design oriented to capture breathtaking views. Nestled among mature trees along the Snake River, the home offers uninterrupted vistas of the Grand Tetons. Featuring contemporary roofs with both slate and cedar shake, the True North house incorporates substantial steel elements for a modern aesthetic. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outdoors in, while wide-plank salvaged chestnut flooring adds warmth and character. Our design-build collaboration with JLF Architects ensured every detail reflected the owners’ vision, from the full outdoor kitchen with motorized pass-through window to the LED-illuminated wine closet. Stone walls and a double-sided fireplace create a warm, dramatic interior atmosphere, complemented by organic materials like leather and wood. The spacious kitchen island accommodates the entire family’s passion for cooking, while metal beams add contemporary flair. White oak cabinetry, quartzite countertops, and floor-to-ceiling windows in the primary suite further showcase the breathtaking natural surroundings.
