About This Project

Big-D Signature proudly completed its highest-elevation project at Alta Ski Resort—the Sugarloaf Patrol Building, a 600-sf, two-story ski patrol hut perched at 10,550 feet. Overlooking the Sugar Bowl area, this structure enhances patrol visibility and safety monitoring on the slopes. Situated in rugged terrain with a tight construction timeline, the project showcased the team’s creativity and determination in overcoming unique challenges. Completed in just two and a half months, the hut represents not only a major milestone in altitude but also a testament to the team’s resilience and dedication to creating impactful structures for iconic destinations.
