Huntsman Springs City Walk

Since it was founded more than a century ago, Driggs, Idaho has attracted tourists and homeowners from all over the United States. Driggs is located in the heart of the Teton Valley and about an hour outside of Jackson, Wyoming. The city’s backyard includes the Grand Teton National Park and the Big Hole Mountains. In fact, in 2007 Driggs was listed as one of the top outdoor destinations by National Geographic.

The city has caught the attention of developers in recent years hoping to attract more homeowners to the area. Big-D Signature was approached by the Huntsman family to develop and construct four homes on the property of Huntsman Springs Resort – a private golf and ski community.

Different Floorplans

The homes vary from 2,752 square feet to 1,800 square feet, depending on the floor plan. The larger home on Waterleaf Avenue features built in bookshelves, oak hardwood floors and French doors. The other homes each have double doors that open to an expansive deck space outside.

“The homes in City Walk lean towards a mountain modern style with access to the private golf course and other member amenities,” said Jason Dunlop, Vice President of Big-D Signature.

The Signature Touch

Big-D Signature was first introduced to the project by the owners of the resort. “The Huntsman family offered the opportunity to Big-D Signature to become the first developers at City Walk, allowing us the opportunity to design and build the homes on the available properties,” said Signature Vice President Jason Dunlop. Signature Group has built homes for clients all around the United States and has an office in neighboring Jackson. In the case of City Walk project, Signature teams had to wear the hats of both general contractor and developer. “We were essentially the client. And as such, we were able to make decisions on all aspects of the design and construction.”
