Deer Valley Resort’s East Village expansion continues to take shape, with 200 additional skiable acres, seven new runs, and the Hail Peak Express lift planned for the 2026–27 winter season. Alongside these improvements, construction is progressing on Park Peak Lodge, a new mountaintop destination being built by Big-D Signature.

Scheduled to open for the 2027–28 ski season, Park Peak Lodge will feature sweeping mountain views, an expansive patio, two bars, and eight dining options. Construction at this elevation presents unique logistical challenges, particularly during the winter months when crews rely on snowcats and the East Village Gondola to access the site, with materials transported by gondola. The project reflects the coordination and specialized construction expertise required to build within an active mountain resort.
